The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Ms. Rachel Ramey, ensures the programs and services of the Town of Athabasca are delivered in accordance with Council approved policy in a professional, effective and efficient manner.
The CAO, reporting directly to Town
Council, manages the administration of the government and affairs of the
corporation which include specific areas and liaison with the Mayor and Council;
leadership and oversight; community and stakeholder collaboration; strategic
relationships and planning; corporate communications; legislative services;
legal review; disaster management; strategic initiatives and project management;
council appointed committees, boards, agencies and commissions; municipal
census and elections; policy and bylaw administration and risk management.
